Vitamin C is a major anti-oxidant in the body. It is well established that Vitamin C is essential for healthy skin. The Mitochondria, which is the "energizing body" in the dermis, controls the production of collagen and elastin. Vitamin C helps to give the "triggering" effect for the Mitochondria to give the command to produce more collagen.
An added benefical Peptide (Palmitoyl Pentapeptide 4) Matrixyl tm, is incorporated to this formula. Clinical test results with Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 show reduction of deep wrinkles 44% and the reduction of main wrinkle density 37% and lifting effect increase by 16%.
